 Roller Skating  for Children With Special Needs

【Summer Camp Time】

May-Jun Summer Camp:

It starts on May 21st and continues every Sunday until June 25th, a total of 6 classes that are 2 hours each. Camp A is from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. Camp B is from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM.

Jul-Aug Summer Camp:

It starts on July 16th and continues every Sunday until August 27th, a total of 6 classes that are 2 hours each (no class on August 6th). Camp C is from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Camp D is from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

 

【Price】

$288+HST/person. Diagnosed high-functioning special needs children can also participate. For children with low-functioning special needs 1:1 private lessons, please get in touch with Benny separately (4168262819)

 

【Registration Method】

Please pay the total amount of tuition on the website www.ncoatoronto.ca, sign a waiver, and then confirm the class.

Personal Preparation​

Individuals prepare their own roller skates and protective gear, water, snack, towel, sunscreen, and personal items.

 

【Age of participants】

5 to 13 years old, diagnosed high-functioning special needs children can also participate. For children with low-functioning special needs 1:1 private lessons, please contact Benny separately (4168262819)

  • Duck Walk

  • Basic Stride

  • Stopping - Heel Stop

  • A-Frame Turn

  • One Foot Glide

  • Swizzles draw an O shape and slide forward

  • Toe Roll Center Edge

  • Lemon Drops Basic Backslide

  • Backward Swizzles

  • Alternating Swizzles: Half O-shaped slides with left and right feet

(After passing the basic level, there will be follow-up advanced gliding and advanced skills teaching)

【Precautions】

  • There is no light in the cave, so you need to bring your own headlamp or flashlight. The cave is cramped, so hard-soled clothing and sneakers are required.

  • Dogs are allowed in the reserve, but must be on leash on the beach and trail
