【Camp introduction】

Our campground, Lake Wilcox Park, is conveniently located in Richmond Hill, close to bayview and Highway 404, and 40 minutes from downtown Toronto.


The campground covers a large area and includes a lake area with a half-moon wooden promenade along the lake, Water park, playground, rest area and picnic area; a youth activity area with a skate park, beach volleyball court and multi-purpose sports court; a community service center with a swimming pool and fitness area; and four parking lots with full restrooms and amenities.

【Summer camp time】

July and August, Monday to Friday, morning and afternoon, Camp A 9:00-12:30 and Camp B 13:30-17:00

【 Campers】

Each summer camp enrolls 10-12 people, and the campers are 6-15 years old. The summer camp will be equipped with 1 head coach + 1-2 assistant coaches according to the situation​

【Summer camp fee】

  • Full-day camp price: $395+HST/week (Phase 5: 8/2——8/5 four-day camp $320+HST)

  • Half-day camp price: $295+HST/week

  • Extended care price: $60+HST/week

  • Sign up for two weeks and get 10% off the second week

  • Fees include: learning and training on the water in the camp, renting boats/paddles/lifejackets, various outdoor and indoor activities on land, on-site management, pizza lunch once a week, and drinking water can be provided in the community center

  • The fee does not include: lunch, snacks, extended care, personal consumption

【Training content】

  • Boating training includes: Canoe, Kayak, and SUP boat skills, with a giant SUP that can carry 10-12 kids for play and fun. Each camper is exposed to all boat types on a daily basis, with an emphasis on teaching water activity safety, self-rescue + rescue skills and paddling-type activities, as well as swimming training in the lake.

【Summer Camp Highlights】



  • Bring your own items: you need to prepare suitable water-shoes, sports shoes or sandals, a change of clothes, sun hat, swimsuit (pants), towels, lunch, snack, sunscreen, water bottle, mask;

  • Make sure your child gets enough sleep and rest every night

  • If you have various allergies or needs to be cautious, please inform the coach in advance

  • Outdoor sports have their own unique risks, and it is necessary to strictly obey the coach's guidance and follow the coach's arrangement. If the coach finds that the students do not follow the rules, they will issue warnings. If repeated warnings are invalid, Northern Cross Outdoor has the right to suspend the activities of the students, and no refund will be given.

  • In case of severe weather such as heavy rain, strong wind, thunder and lightning, we will make appropriate adjustments and arrange indoor activities
