NorthStar is Hiring Sports Coaches (Ongoing Recruitment)
About Us
NorthStar Special Needs Society (NSNS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing professional sports training for children with autism and special needs. Through a variety of sports programs, we help children improve coordination, social skills, confidence, and athletic ability in a safe and inclusive environment.
Position: Sports Coach (Ongoing Recruitment)
Sports Programs (Including but not limited to):
Skiing / Skating / Table Tennis / Badminton / Soccer / Basketball / Rollerblading / Swimming / Rowing / Fitness Training / Other Adaptive Sports

Responsibilites
-
Provide professional and safe sports coaching for children with autism and special needs
-
Develop and implement training programs suitable for different skill levels
-
Offer individualized support to help children enhance their skills and confidence
-
Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment while communicating progress with parents
-
Collaborate with team members to continuously improve teaching methods and program quality

Requirements
✅ Proficiency and coaching experience in relevant sports (certified coaches preferred)
✅ Patience, responsibility, and passion for working with children with special needs
✅ Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with parents, volunteers, and team members
✅ First aid certification or willingness to obtain training is an asset
