National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) is a nationwide initiative in Canada that takes place every year starting on the last Sunday in May. In 2026, it runs from May 31 to June 6.
During this week, Canadians are encouraged to take action and support accessibility through initiatives that:

Raise awareness about accessibility and disability inclusion

Celebrate achievements of Canadians with disabilities

Promote barrier-free communities, workplaces, and services

Encourage conversations and actions toward inclusion

NorthStar Special Needs Society is an active contributor to National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) across Canada.
As a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children with autism and special needs through inclusive programs and sports, NorthStar plays a leading role in advancing accessibility and inclusion.
Through workshops, panel discussions, cultural events, and community engagement, NorthStar is helping to build a more inclusive Canada where individuals with disabilities are recognized, supported, and empowered.
