Benny Xie

Benny Xie is the Founder, President, and Board Chair of NSNS. With an academic background that began in business and later expanded to environmental science (MES and PhD studies at the University of Toronto), he is also a devoted single father to an autistic son.

His journey into advocacy began in 2015, when he witnessed firsthand how adapted, structured sports could transform his son’s confidence, social connections, and independence. Inspired by these changes, Benny started supporting other children and families in his community to access similar opportunities and benefits.

In 2022, he officially established NSNS—a community-rooted platform that brings together like-minded individuals, partners, and resources. Guided by a vision of a lifelong continuum of support, NSNS strives to ensure that every autistic child can grow into an independent, whole, and dignified life, and reach their fullest potential.
