NorthStar Special Needs Society (NSNS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing professional sports training for children with autism and special needs. Through a variety of sports programs, we help children improve coordination, social skills, confidence, and athletic ability in a safe and inclusive environment.
Position: Sports Coach (Ongoing Recruitment)
Sports Programs (Including but not limited to):
Skiing / Skating / Table Tennis / Badminton / Soccer / Basketball / Rollerblading / Swimming / Rowing / Fitness Training / Other Adaptive Sports
Responsibilites

Provide professional and safe sports coaching for children with autism and special needs

Develop and implement training programs suitable for different skill levels

Offer individualized support to help children enhance their skills and confidence

Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment while communicating progress with parents

Collaborate with team members to continuously improve teaching methods and program quality
Requirements

Proficiency and coaching experience in relevant sports (certified coaches preferred)

Patience, responsibility, and passion for working with children with special needs

Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with parents, volunteers, and team members
-
First aid certification or willingness to obtain training is an asset
